These SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) describe how Chimney Restoration of Kansas City (“Chimney Restoration of Kansas City,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides text message communications (the “Program”) to you. By enrolling in, or otherwise agreeing to receive, SMS/text messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms in addition to our general Privacy Policy and any other applicable terms.

Note: We may send customers links from our short domain crokc.co, which directs to our customer portal.

• Appointment confirmations and scheduling updates
• Appointment reminders
• Day-of arrival notifications (including MMS with a photo of your technician)
• Post-visit review or feedback requests
• Invoices, payment confirmations, and receipt notifications
• Other service-related alerts and updates regarding your chimney services
• Alerts for discounts on future services

Messages may be sent using automated technology, including an automatic telephone dialing system, or manually, to the mobile phone number you provided.

  1. How You Consent / Opt In

You may opt in to receive text messages from us in one or more of the following ways:
• Website forms: By providing your mobile number on our website or online service request/scheduling forms and affirmatively agreeing to receive SMS messages (for example, by checking a consent box and/or submitting the form), you authorize Chimney Restoration of Kansas City to send you text messages at the number you provided.

Message and data rates may apply to each SMS or MMS message sent or received in connection with the Program, as determined by your mobile carrier’s rate plan. We do not charge a separate fee for sending you text messages, but you are responsible for any fees imposed by your carrier.

  1. How to Opt Out of SMS

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from us at any time:
• Text STOP:
Reply “STOP” (or “UNSUBSCRIBE”, “CANCEL”, “END”, or “QUIT”) to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a confirmation text to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us at that number, unless you later opt in again.

You may also contact us using the information in the Contact Us section below and request that we stop sending SMS messages to your number.

Please note that opting out of SMS may affect our ability to send timely appointment reminders, arrival notifications, and service updates.

Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is outside of our control. Supported carriers may change from time to time.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You acknowledge that SMS/MMS delivery may be limited or unavailable in certain areas or on certain devices, and that message delivery is not guaranteed.

In connection with the Program:

By participating in the Program, you represent that:
• You are the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number you provided;
• You are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), or you have obtained any required parental/guardian consent; and
• You will notify us promptly if you change or deactivate your mobile number.

If you change your mobile number, you are responsible for opting out of the Program with your old number and, if desired, opting in again with your new number.

We may modify or discontinue the Program, or update these SMS Terms, at any time. If we make material changes to these SMS Terms, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice as required by law.

Your continued participation in the Program after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated SMS Terms.
