The Hoff family has owned and operated the farm since 1864, when Fredrick Hoff purchased the land and pioneered lager beer production in Johnson County. In 2007, they planted their first vines, and by May 1, 2010, Stone Pillar Vineyard & Winery officially opened for sales. The family works closely with their own vines and local growers to ensure high-quality, handpicked Kansas wines.
